    We at poolparts2u.com are excited about this new forum, helping customers troubleshoot problems with their pools and equipment. Getting them the information and correct parts is important. I will be posting articles of interest regarding Jandy Ray-vac, Jandy controls, Jandy heaters, and Jandy salt systems, pumps and filters. I always enjoy helping customers and walking them through a problem or part installation. We are knowledgeable and experinence. We are a little different than most of the internet companes, because, we at poolparts2u.com have most all the parts in stock  and can ship same day, we know how the heater works and how to troubleshoot problems.

I have over 30 years in the pool industry, repairing the equipment. I started working at Raypak, a major pool heater manufactor in 1973. My assignment was in the stock room, unloading trucks, stocking shelves and pulling parts for the assembly lines. I learned about the parts that made up the heaters, inventry and the control of inventory and ordering of inventory. I transfered into the service deptartment and learned how to repair Raypak heaters, travleing throughout southern California making repairs. After a few years I was pomoted to the inside service department. It was my responsibility to manage the parts shipping department and warranty returns deptment.  In 1983 after ten years working for Raypak, I left and started Pro-Tech Services, a service company in southern California, working exclusively for Raypak. My philosphy was to only make one service call, make the correct diagnosis, and have the necessary parts on my truck to make the repair. You only have one chance to make a first impression. I learned that I represented not only Raypak, but also the pool builder and the pool mainteance companies. Today we have seven employees and continued to expand our knowledge with trainning and classes. We have always employed a full time dispacther so any one calling in will be talking to a live person durning normal busines hours.

In 1995, we were approched by David Nibler from Jandy to handle service calls in Riverside San Bernandino and Orange counties.  Jandy flew Andy Huffman, Renee McGowan and myself up to Petaluma, California and trained us on their products, the Jandy Vac the Ray-Vac and the Jandy Aqualink controler. Through the years we became proficrent in the repair of Jandy equipment and have a 96% customer satifaction rating.  Andy Huffman, is now our Service Manager and overseeing the field technicans and keeping abreast of new products and service related issues.

It was 1996 when David Nibler from Jandy had a need for comsumers who couldn't find parts to have a source that where could purchase genuine manufactured parts. He wanted to set up three parts houses accross the United States that would stock parts and sell them directly to consumers. We signed on and Parts Depot was born. As time went on we thought it would a great idea to use the internet so coutomers could have access to our store 24 hours a day.  By adding pictures to our site they could see if the part was correct. Our website www.Poolparts2u.com is our most recent development.  We are constantly reviewing and assessing our business so we can continue to be at the forefront of meeting our customers' needs. Now that we are under the Zodiac pool systems unbrella, we will be adding Polaris, Baracuda and Nature2 to our inventory.
